Privacy Policy

Last updated August 17, 2026

This policy explains what Pagemint ("we", "us") collects when you use the rendering API, the dashboard, or this website, and what we do with it. It applies to visitors, account holders, and anyone whose data passes through a render on a customer's behalf.

What we collect

Account data. Name, email, and billing details when you create an account or manage a subscription.

Render content. The template data and generated documents you send to the API. This is the most sensitive category we handle, and it is treated accordingly — see "Render data and retention" below.

Usage and log data. API request metadata (endpoint, timestamp, response time, status code), IP address, and standard web analytics on this site. We do not log full request bodies outside of the render pipeline itself.

Render data and retention

Rendered files are stored behind a signed URL that expires on the TTL you set at request time. Setting a TTL of zero streams the bytes back without persisting the file at all. Absent an explicit TTL, files expire after 24 hours and are then deleted from storage — not archived, not soft-deleted, gone.

Template data submitted for a render is held only as long as needed to complete that render and is not used to train any model or shared with any third party beyond the sub-processors listed below.

How we use data

  • To operate the API: authenticate requests, render documents, deliver webhooks.
  • To bill correctly: page counts and plan usage.
  • To keep the service reliable: aggregated, anonymized performance metrics.
  • To communicate: service notices, security alerts, and — only with consent — product updates.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use render content for advertising.

Sub-processors

We rely on infrastructure providers to run the API — compute, object storage, and email delivery. Each is bound by a data processing agreement at least as protective as this policy, and none receives more data than its function requires. The current list of sub-processors is available on request.

Data residency

Renders execute in the region you select at request time. Data submitted for a render in a given region does not leave it during processing or storage, ahead of that file's TTL expiry.

Your rights

Depending on where you're located, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Requests can be made at the contact below and are handled within 30 days.

Security

Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Render execution happens in sandboxed, pinned Chromium instances with no network access beyond what a template explicitly requests. Access to production data is limited to the engineers who need it to operate the service, logged, and reviewed regularly.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we'll notify account holders by email and update the date at the top of this page before the change takes effect.
